Tabular View of Pin Assignments
The Pin List function creates a table of the pins in your design. This table can be sorted based on the column by clicking the column heading. The sort routines understand pin numbers and bus nomenclature. The description field lists the special functions that pins may have during configuration.
The pinlister performs some rudimentary error checking on your design. If a UCF specifies a signal be assigned to a pin which can not support IOs, an error message is displayed. Signals without assignments or pins with multiple assignments are also annotated.
The table can be save locally as an HTML file, or it can be easily cut and pasted into your spreadsheet or word processor for additional editing.
